Depression and anxiety are not malfunctions.
They are coherent responses to a story that isn't working.
The question isn't how to manage them — it's what they're pointing to.

Background
First-gen. Single-mother household. I struggled with depression myself — and that sent me looking for answers.
That search became a career. I trained as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, spent years working in community mental health, and kept noticing the same thing: people aren't broken. They're operating from an incomplete story — one that made sense once, in a context that no longer exists. The work isn't fixing. It's reauthoring.
How I work
Sessions are reflective and direct. I'm not here to help you cope better with a life that isn't working. I'm here to help you understand why it isn't — and what a different version actually looks like.
The question I keep coming back to with every client is simple: what is the story you're operating from? Because identity drives behaviour. And behaviour doesn't change until the story does.
I do give a shit about the people I work with. That's not a performance — it's why this project exists.
Services
One-to-one work for people navigating depression and anxiety who are ready to go beyond symptom management. Available across Australia.
The work
Sessions are 50 minutes, held online. The focus is on understanding what's driving the problem — not just managing it. That means looking at the stories, patterns, and identities that have shaped how you move through the world.
The approach draws on narrative therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic frameworks — whatever the work calls for. There's no fixed formula. The process is tailored to you.
Most people come in carrying depression or anxiety. What we usually find underneath is something worth examining — and something worth changing.
